What phone do you have? And does your PC have a wireless NIC in it? If so, there should be a setting on your phone called "tethering". Turn that on and it allows people to use the data on your phone.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and i have unlimited DATA on my phone and there is 4G LTE in my room as for my PC its a custom built pc i built myself i would assume that if it were to have wireless NIC it would have to do with the motherboard but i am not sure if mine has it. dunno if you can check for me...? i have a Asus Maximus VI Formula motherboard. if you need other specs i can get that aswell.

A NIC is something that you buy separately and install yourself into one of the PCI-e slots. Are you able to connect to a network wirelessly or do you use Ethernet?

i have a wireless network adapter that asus made for this motherboard specifically. i usually use ethernet but it is possible to connect using wireless ive done it before.
