Are you in 7th grade or some shit?
It's the sin rule.
sin90 x sin62
___________ = Your answer, something similar anyways, may be sin90 x 7.2 tho, I don't remember, been years since I did this shit.
7.3
I need someone to explain this nonsense to me
Is that right? And if it is can you explain it to me.
Don't be a Dix i'm trying to study for a math test tomorrow and i'm failing math at the moment. Help a nigga out
I might have more questions if someone is good at this.

Nope, it's 6.4 use law of sines.
a/sinA=b/sinB=c/sinC
C=90 degrees
B=62 degrees
side b=7.3
so,
7.3/sin62=x/sin90
isolate x by multiplying sin90
x=(7.3/sin62)(sin90)
x=6.4

In this type of situation there is no need to use cos or tan because it's law of sines, but if you're asking when you wanna use sin cos and tan, it's only when you have a right triangle: 90 degrees.
sin: opposite/hypotenuse
cos: adjacent/hypotenuse
tan: opposite/adjacent
(using Pythagorean theorem to find hypotenuse)

You can just use logic to answer this question... The highest degree side will be the longest. The right angle is = 90 degrees. The 7.3 is 62 degrees. 90 + 62 = 152. 180 - 152 = 28. The third degree is 28. This means the longest side will correspond to the 90 degree. This makes it longer than 7.3 so 8.3 is you only possible answer.
SOHCAHTOA motherfucker.
Sine opposite Hypotenuse
Cosine adjacent Hypotenuse.
Tangent opposite Adjacent.

I never even looked at the diagram, just the question asking for the length of side AB.
Of course it's the law of sines if you have 2 angles and a side, it's the direct inverse.
Edit: Looked at the diagram, and yeah it's law of sines, but your equation is incorrect.
sin62 goes over 7.3, not sin90
It's the side opposite, not adjacent.
sin90 = sin62
-------- ...-------
x ......... 7.3

Oh shit, formatting got jacked up.
Should be side length over angle, not angle over side length.
...x .........7.3
.----- ...= -----
sin90 ..sin62
We are solving for x, so we need to isolate it from the rest of the equation.
To do that, we multiply both sides by sin90, which results in:
x= (7.3/sin62)sin90
The sine of 90 is always 1, so the inside of our parentheses stays the same.
Now we solve.
sin62= 0.88294
7.3/0.88294 = 8.3
x=8.3
There you have it
1. Set up your equation.
2. Isolate your variable.
3. Solve.
