How to Create Animated GIF Images!

Today I will be showing you how to create animated GIF Images.

How is this relevant to You might ask, well it is a much faster process than uploading to youtube and the Images only have to be downloaded once and they loop by themselves.

This process will allow you to present your New Hacks, Working Hacks, Glitches Montages and Much more faster.

Here How:

1. You are going to need to have a recording already finished and edited into one of these formats MPEG, AVI. ( I recommend AVI )

2. You are going to need a program called MovieToAGIF (Download below Once Approved)

3. Open Up the program and you will be presented with a Screen Like this,

4. Goto File>Open Movie....

5. Browse Your computer for Your Video File

6. Click open

7. Drag the Cursor all the way to then end and press this button;

8. Go to Export and Click Export to Animated GIF ( The First Option ) and if your are presented with an error like this press YES;

9. Create a file name and save it anywhere, (preferably to the desktop)

10. A windows will appear witht he options RESIZE & APPLICATION, for RESIZE have it set to 50% and leave APPLICATION where it is an click OK.

11. All finished, you WILL NOT be able to view this in windows media player or VLC media player as it is a Web Image, to view your work open it with a web browser,

12. Upload it to photobucket OR tinypic and use the [IMG][/IMG] suffix to have it as a Signature or picture

13. Enjoy GIF creating!

And why is this in the CA general section when it is better in the GFX Section?

Please point out the flaws to this method, I'll start, the biggest flaw is no sound/music.

P.S. if this should be in the GFX section then why is this program any different from the FRAPS thread

I know that, this is an alternative to youtube, Some people have videos that are 100+mb and this shrinks it down to only 10+mbs making it easier and faster to upload movies
