You can go with i7 if you want, but I would recommend 6600K,it has great performance in gaming and is not too expensive. It preforms similar as i7-4790k and is like 100$ cheaper.

    No,no,no,no.
Alienware is waaay overpriced in every look. For 1500$ you will get ~800$ worth PC.
I recommend that you build it by yourself,it is actually very easy and a lot cheaper than buying pre-built.There are ton of guides on youtube and on internet on how to build your own pc.

99% of pre built PCs are either overpriced or shit(bad PSU,case, mobo, hdd).Just buy these parts that I mentioned here for what budget you have and build it by yourself, you can ask me anything when you are building it if you don't find it on internet(doubt you won't find it).
Just google : "How to build PC" or search it on youtube, here is somewhat useful guide for beginners : https://www.pcgamer.com/how-to-build-...ginners-guide/

    $700 - R9 280X, Corsair SPEC-03, TX3 EVO and a 32GB SSD for OS.
$800 -No fan? No SSD? I'd rather get a 290X and the mobo is shit.
    $1000 -PSU? GTX 970 > R9 390 unless gaming on 4K.

700$ R9 380 is newer version of 280x and performs better in most of games.
800$ aftermarket cooler is optional when you are going with intel CPU,you are probably not gonna overclock 4670 anyways, and stock cooler isn't loud at all,why is mobo shit,it has every feature you need in this build.SSD is not optional as well,it will cost you ~50$ just for few seconds faster boot and loads.
1000$ Forgot to add PSU(edited main post now),who would even build 1000$ pc if you are gaming on 720p.1000$ build is for 1080p,1440p and 4K.

    1. Uhm wut? The 380 is a rebranded R9 285 mate. 280X is better.
    2. Get a silent $15 cooler. You will not regret it. Mobo is just bad. Better ones for the same prices. A 32GB SSD is only $30. You clearly haven't experienced a SSD yet. The difference is huge.
    3. Where did I state 720P? For 1080p which most people have is a 970 better.

    1.R9 285 beats 280x in performance,and 380 beats both
2.Intel is not loud at all,but if you have 15$ extra you can get it.Mobo for that price is perfect for me.
3.1080p 390 is way better, compare benchmarks and you will see.

    1. What are you on mate? Get your facts straight.
    2. I think that silence is an important part so that's why. The mobo is just not for me. Had a lot of troubles with it.
    3. That's bs. My buddy has a 390 and I have a 970. We have the same CPU and both play at 1080p. In GTA V with all our settings the same I get 4 fps more and sometimes going to 8fps more. The best 1080P card is the 970.

I agree that silence is important, never had any problems with that mobo, used it few times and it worked flawlessly.
It is not bullshit, put everything to max,MSAA FXAA,970 can't handle it fully maxed out as 390,I tested both of them in games and benchmark and 390 is obvious winner.

Do you also agree about the R9 280x? Hmm, I guess that I mine was just messed up. Hated that mobo to be honest. Ah well we didn't max it out. We didn't touch the advanced graphics. So I'll have to give you a win for that.
