I need download help

When I download attached files from a thread I then download to desktop. I try to extract to the desktop it says files have corupted or the file extension ended. I don't have no clue why it only does this for attachment files, because it works fine from downloading from a site. I'm using a Vista, and I think it's 64-bit. Help would be appreciated .

It's probably your antivirus is messing up the download, that's what happens to me sometimes.

If disabling doesn't work then I'll try a different version of winrar...

Usualy happens from antivirus.

I disabled it and still the same thing happens, so I i downloaded at 66 mb file and saved it to my desktop and then I hovered over it and it only said 66 kb file?! OKay so... it's not downloading the whole file or something? wdf...
