I'd be using a socks5 VPN to make it look like I'm in the same city and state as the card holder, and I'd send the code for the gift card to my email account.

QUESTION: Will the socks5 VPN be enough to protect me, and will they track down the code if someone files a report or something among those lines? Like will the code be safe to use?
