Special Winter Game Mode (Available from 1/14/2009 through 2/25/2009)

Which means beginning of this year. Otherwise they would've said 1/14 throught 2/25.

As for the winter game I think it'll be back. Some say it won't because people used it to power level but you don't see Spy Hunt removed. I think they're busy with other things right now and it's usually the same time each year so judging by the previous date I'd say we still have a ways to go.
