Is an injector necessary?

Hello. I'm kinda new to the hacking scene in CS:GO. So, I heard a lot about injectors and such, and using one might increase the chance of you getting VAC Banned, but I hear people saying that you need to use them. I'm going to get straight to the point. What exactly is an injector and is it necessary to do so?

Simple terms please. I'm new. Thank you :)

There's also a .exe in the folder in which the hacks are placed. I used Enigma Protector to protect it. Run the .exe and it ran the hack, but there's also a .dll. The text file included in the folder says all the contents in the folder are needed in the hack. All I know about injectors is that it requires a .dll, which the folder contains.

If there is an exe, chances are that it injects the cheat. Run the game with -insecure, run the exe, go offline with bots, and see if it works. If not, go back to the original thread and ask what to do
