    Mother abandons her baby, baby found being nursed by a dog

    A 2-year-old boy suffering from malnutrition was being nursed by a neighbor’s dog in Chile, police said.

    The toddler was rescued by officers who took him to a hospital in the desert port of Arica, about 1,000 miles north of Santiago.

    The child was also suffering from lice and a skin infection and police said the boy’s parents were “dead drunk".
