    Thoughts on This Computer?

So in a few days, I will be purchasing this computer.

I have seen a lot of positive reviews about it and it seems like the best bang for the buck.
Any better recommendations would be appreciated.

What are your thoughts on this?
Yes, I know PCs are better blah blah blah.

Edit: I am also looking into this MSI.

I won't be doing hardcore gaming, that is what my console is for.
If anything, I would be running Minecraft and some PS2 ISOs.
As I tried stating above, I am aware that PCs are better, but I do not want a PC.

Why are you even getting a $1000 laptop if you're using it for minecraft and PS2 ISO's?

The GTX 960 can barely game for shit but since you aren't hardcore gaming as you said it shouldn't be a problem.

I don't know, maybe because people with, or pursuing, careers, have other stuff to do such as programming, running/testing apps, multitask a lot, and overall not wanting to worry about their computers not being able to handle their daily tasks.
If you have the money, why not?
Provides portability, which comes in really handy to me.

People generally get a laptop specifically for those tasks. More often than not, they will build an actual PC anyway, you could get a small form factor as in an mini itx or atx and it would still be smaller than a laptop, just.. You'd need a monitor.

    Doh
That laptop is quite decent for the price, a possible alternative would be an acer v nitro for the $1000 pricepoint.
