dam maybe u should give some of his items back and u wont get banned
Hey guys
I have been into the trading scene of CSGO for about a year now and ive made ALOT of profit.
Recently some guy lowballed me on an offer and I replied "Thats not going to happen"
He then put in some adds but then FORGOT to put my knife in and he sent me 1000$ for free.
Of course I accepted the trade. Immediately after he sent an offer saying "If you dont give my items back im going
to get all of my friends to report you for scamming.
Im nervous that im going to get trade banned. Does anyone know how the system works?
dam maybe u should give some of his items back and u wont get banned
PLAYING TOO MUCH COUNTER STRIKE
No. As long as it's were sent from his IP etc he can't claim that he got hacked.
You should be safe.
You won't really get banned, my thoughts though.
It's pretty much his fault, so he can't necessarily blame you for "accepting his offer." Anyway, it's up to you if you want to give it back to him. I'm just saying you don't really have to, and I doubt you will get punished.
(Give me some skins? xDD <3)

You wont get banned because usually steam staff checks most trades when its reported especially when it was something like scamming, its his own fault not yours, therefore he could get ban not you.

Damn.. Wish I was that lucky with trades! Eitherway as mentioned I doubt you will get banned for it, with that amount he prolly needs to confirm it twice before the trade is done, so the fault is on him ^^
It was him at fault. You just pressed accept..
And damn jesus, so lucky man!
I lost all my skins to betting, i'm here if you ever wanna hook a brother up with some skins <3
You're completely fine
be like anomaly get 100k subs on youtube and tell people on ur channel you got trade ban for no reason and tell the viewers to harass steam for unban ??? PROFIT??
Wow so lucky he sent and didnt check. So jelly of u right now..<< Share maybe??

BTW there is absolutely no chance for him to prove that you are at fault. Because no illegal software has been used to gain his items.
Seen from steam website ;
Scammed items or gifts are not returned
Steam Support will not return any items or gifts that you feel have been traded unfairly. There are no exceptions to this policy. This policy does not include games received in a trade that are revoked due to payment fraud (please see the My Gift Has Been Revoked article for more information).
You can feel safe that you wont be banned

Trade ban only happens when u have been transfered or traded items that was reported stolen before!
Steam usually checks the case before giving a trade ban to someone, and even when he reports you for 'scamming' they check that too and when its invalid then its his/hers fucking fault.

Steam will look into it and see that you were not luring him with information that is not true and he just made a mistake. If you spoke and said "I will trade my knife for your items through a trade offer" and he sends the items without your knife in the trade, you will be okay.
