Never get prebuilt shit, always get custom. It will save you a lot of money and for the same price as a prebuilt computer, it will be twice as better.
So, I bought a IBUYPOWER pc from best buy, shows up with a broken CPU and Graphics card. Then I buy a Acer (Same one my cousin has) and the graphic card brakes within three hours due to a issue with shipping. Now I am either thinking of building my own PC or buying a new one.
So, If I buy one; where should I buy it from and what brand?
If I build my own, how do I go about getting all the parts?
(Around a 800$ Budget)

Build your own. Look up video reviews on top end GPU's/CPU's/RAM/ETC and make a decision on what you want for yourself. That is what I did when I built my PC, I did MY OWN research.

If you buy pre-built then make sure you ask ibuypower nicely that you want your GPU's shipped separately from the computer. You NEVER ship a computer with the graphics card/s installed. That's like asking to get a broken PCI-E slot on arrival.
As far as what $800 would get you, you could get a gaming PC that'll max out most games at 1080P and can game 1440P/2160P(4K) at around medium settings.
************ is a great place to go to. But since you are in the US, I'd find the nearest microcenter I can find and buy all my parts there. You get some insane deals in micro center.

Definitely build your own PC. It's really simple(LinusTechTips has a video of a 3 year old building one) and you get a lot of bang for your buck. It might just be a blessing in disguise that your prebuilts have been defective.
Damn, that's some bad luck lol
Always ask for confirmation before and after adding me, I am not responsible if you get scammed by my impersonators
You're best bet is building your own.
Go to r/buildapc there are a lot of people who knows their computer stuff & also try building one within your budget on pc partpicker
