Has Hollywood gone so far out of ideas that all they can do is vampires? If you ask me its fucking retarded, I mean 1 or maybe 2 is ok... But now they got like 2 more comin out later.

People are obsessed with vampires and other people are capitalizing on it.

Its started with the Twilight series then other authors came out with similar series

which were just as successful and the movie companies used this to their advantage.

Sure there are a lot out there but it will pass.

It's just a phase. It isn't a Hollywood thing, it's a Human thing. You see it everywhere; school trends, etc..

If you think about how many movies are coming out this year it isn't too suprising how many vampire movies there are
now that we have ways to do a lot of amazing special effect on people rather than greenscreen addons they are focusing on that

The Underworld series is an exception. 2 of their movies were released before Twilight. Plus Rise of the Lycans was already in production before Twilight was released.
