Download Photoshop CC directly from their webpage and install it as a trial.
Or alternatively, Adobe Downloads.
Both links lead basically to the same page.

Once downloaded, follow the instructions inside the archive provided here.
The archive contains instructions and the amtlib.dll patch for Adobe Photoshop 2015, both 32-Bit & 64-Bit.

How could it be less effort, get the actual real program from the developer.
Then just replace a couple of files.

You need to have Administrator access to edit your hosts file.
Right click your desktop ► New ► Shortcut

Fill in "C:\Windows\System32\notepad.exe c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"

Then on the shortcut you just made Right Click ► Properties ► Advanced ► Run as Administrator

So each time you open this shortcut you can as an administrator edit it however you wish.

That doesn't answer my question.
You just agreed that it's equally simple.

However, key difference being downloading directly from adobe then patching, is that you'll have a current version and NOT run any risk of it being full of viruses.
