British babysitter who encouraged a 13-year-old boy to touch her sexually is facing jail time.

Mary-Ellen Mooney, 18, was looking after a child in his family home when the boy visited the house to see his friend.

And as they sat watching TV together, Mooney began making sexual suggestions to the teenager before they got intimate.

Mooney admitted that she grabbed hold of the young boy's hand and "guided" it down to her genital area, placing his hand beneath her underwear.

Prosecutor Richard Milne said "It was believed that all this all happened in a period of a minute and also involved the pair kissing on the lips."

Just days after their encounter, Mooney pursued the boy again and sent him messages on social media that "were clearly of a sexual nature,” Milne told Aylesbury Crown Court in England.

Mooney, from Milton Keynes, was then assaulted by the boy’s family after they learned about what had happened, reported Mirror Online.

Judge Karen Holt said "She is 18 and of good character, he was 13. There was an abuse of trust as he had gone over to the house to see his friend."
