Also a good sci-fi flick i love recommending is "Pandorum" most ppl have never heard of it, decent plot and good acting with an ending you don't see coming.

If you want a really good thriller, then I recommend Memento or The Sixth Sense. Both of the movies will leave you with a ''What the fuck just happened... oh my god'' - type of feeling.
