Purchased something around $500 on amazon.ca (yes it was shipped and fulfilled by amazon) to try an refund but it went horribly wrong. I tried one of the vouched refunders from user services here and it ended up resulting in amazon sending me an email saying they require me to file a police report against the carrier and they will not do anything about it untill i file one. I did not have any prior refunds to this and have a good history with amazon. Is this a lost cause or is there still hope? I messaged my refunder about this but he told me to wait 3 days till he tries again without giving me any further info. I was wondering if I should just send the item back and get a refund normally or is there any hope at all for a refund?
