Question about playing BO3 Zombies on LAN

Hi.

I wanted to ask if it is possible to play Zombies on LAN with a bunch of friends, much like we do in Counter Strike where one player hosts a game and the others join in. I'm playing after a loong time, and am unaware about how multiplayer works now. I dont have a steam account and cannot use their servers.

Lastly, kindly let me know if this is possible, since I looked up online and did not find anything remote to what I need. Also, if it is possible, please direct me to a link for a patch or so. I apologize beforehand if I am breaking any rules or being a 'noob'.
