[REQ] How to make ur own mod thingy

Well, uhh I've been working on a knife to sniper mod and uhh when i go in game, it doesn't work.
What it doesn't do: it doesn't shoot.

Why?

Can someone please post up a tutorial on what to do?

What i did:

RezeXtract it.
Copy & paste the PVMLA_L96A1.LTB to my desktop
Copy & paste the PVMLA_M9.LTB to my desktop
Renamed PVMLA_L96A1.LTB to PVMLA_L96A1X.LTB (for backup)
Renamed PVMLA_M9.LTB to PVMLA_L96A1.LTB ( In the post, ill call it New)
Moved the "New" to the GUNS_M_PV_SR and replaced the old one.

that's what I did.
And uh don't call me choob or flame here please T.T

The fastest RoF your gonna get on the L9 is the L9 to Sr-25. We cannot mod knife to anything really yet.

Uhh no. You could change the scope, what it looks like inside, no point though. The l9 one is the best by a long shot.

I'm currently trying to make my L96A1 into a dragunov SVD. It looks awesome and it's a semi. Ima experiment in the afternoon

You guys don't quite understand the difference between a semi-automatic and a sniper rifle, but mods like these will not work yet. Inside the .rez files, there's more then just models and textures, there's file formats. In between guns, it usually doesn't work.
