I'd say at least 2 times, when you wake up and when you go to sleep, if you got time, do it middle of the day. Nothing is really more attractive than good hygiene

Is it bad that I only brush my teeth 1 time a day (in the morning)

It's bad because all the stuff you eat from lunch to dinner never gets cleaned and is left to rot in between your teeth when you sleep. Also you get bad breath if you don't brush your teeth before you sleep.
Best thing to do is brush once before you sleep (do you want cavities and bad breath?)
And brush when you wake up (you dont want yellow teeth during the day)
Unless you're a real health freak and brush every after meal which is stupid af but ok.

I regret not brushing my teeth while I was younger now I brush with my sonicare twice everyday.
