Thanks button alternative

The thanks button is very good i like it, but its weird when people say, "If i helped u please click on the thanks button, or can u thank me?" etc. If "thanks" button was changed to something else like "like" or maybe if there was just Positive and Negative, and people would see how much the author is positive, or negative.

TL;dr the thank button sounds weird, just suggesting something like "Positive+" and "Negative-" could be a good alternative to thank, or maybe something completely new, idk. It's just what I think everyone has different opinions :P Thanks for reading, and pls dont hate me for this I am just suggesting :P

rep is generally used for that, although negative rep has been disabled for several years.

Though i agree(sort of), the dislike button if someone were to make several alts they can spam "dislike" on the thread and ruin the person's thread.
