    Dolby 7.1

    Is it just me or does Dolby 7.1 sound worst than stereo? It sound like it's covered up by something when compared to stereo...

    I've never tried 7.1 tbh. I actually have in wall wiring for it but been using 5.1 and it sounds really good. It took a little tweaking to get the settings right when i 1st set it all up.

    I imagine if you have really cheap stuff or even a bad room setup it's going to sound like crap though.

    how does room setup have to do with quality of the audio? especially when it's from a headset?

    It wouldn't. It's as pointless as your reply when you didn't even mention your talking about headphones in the 1st post. Am i supposed to have a magic crystal ball and just know?
