You don't really need professional quality microphone and speakers in a headset. Especially if your just gaming, and since the headset was originally 90 dollars I suppose it has some form of surround sound. So hearing footsteps if you need that in a headset probably isn't impaired by the price... As well as it has alot of good reviews.

Yea, I agree. I watched a video review on youtube and stuff, people said the mic produced crisp, crystal clear audio. And the headphones are really good for what they cost.

Just because the headset 7.1 doesn't mean a whole lot now, since most modern, decent headsets already support and have them.
I prefer to chose headsets that very comfortable and good in sound and mic quality; plus I want to use it for all my consoles and PC.
