It's a form of entertainment that people prefer,

You can't outgrow anime as there's shows tailored to age groups - Pokemon for younger Audiences (But older audiences still watch for the nostalgia) and gore-y type animes for 18+ such as Another, Afro Samurai and AoT (Bare in mind these anime's were created for 18+ yet they are extremely popular from ages of 14 years old+)

Another thing is that it brings readers/viewers into a world they - wish - they were apart of which is the Japanese. No doubt many people find that lifestyle interesting and by watching japanese subtitled anime and manga they can at least be a part of it.

This was definitely accurate, Samurai Champloo was the anime that did it for me.

I'll just say that it's up to each individual share they taste in animation like others do in music or games. Let them be.

Anime is really cool if you watch the right ones. I have watched over 700 titles and imo only 20-25 had a meaning. Other 675 were still worth watching, and i don't regret watching them, it's just there are those unique animes, that are more interesting than a good movie.

I've tried to watch One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, DBZ, and maybe a few more but to say the least, I never finished one episode of any of them.
If Samurai Jack is an anime then that is the only one I like cause there was like 0 talking and 100% fighting scenes. There wasn't some stupid fucking backstory to every episode, it was just Jack fucking shit up for 30 minutes.

I rest my case.

Probably because Naruto, Bleach, One Piece and DBZ are all terrible? If you want 30 minutes of fighting, watch a fucking movie. There are series that have fighting and a lot of it, but of course you're going to get backstory. People watch it for different reasons. No one watches it because they want to see two characters fight for 20 minutes. Remember that anime is made in Japan, and they have a different culture than the U.S.

No one series has 30 minutes of fighting and no talking like you said. But I do know series that have more fighting than the norm from what you experienced.
