That's true, I feel kind of relaxed whenever coming to this forum. This is the site that I visit the most after Facebook.

That should clear it up for the people that were saying being a MM is easy and why it took so long to reply.

Most people think MM is just a free tool and they can use it whenever they want but sadly not many notice that MM are just normal people, they have their own lives to care for in reality, it is almost impossible for them to just sit in front of the PC waiting for the trade to take place all day.

You say that now, for the small amount of time that I was one. Probably one of the most overwhelming things to have to deal with on a regular basis. Not counting the fact that its just a hobby and not really mandatory in your everyday life especially if you have other priorities. I don't care how much free time you have, the only MM who could literally handle the work load would be @Ravallo @Czar.

As a former MM pretty much sums it up except my trades never took over 20 min lol. But yeah the amount of MM's to member request ratio is really bad and this was when me and Symmi did the trades with Danny. Now there's like 5-7 MM?

I think only time MM should be used is if you wanna be sure the guy is legit before trading him, like MM ads the seller and buyer to the skype friends lists and talks to them, gets to know them before he lets to trade with each other w/o middleman.

Obviously one of the solutions is adding more MM but like you said you can't always trust someone over the Internet when choosing staff. I've personally never been a MM also never thought it was easy considering I used to talk to a few when I was the Runescape Minion and would send my sections trades over to a MM. At least more people will understand what a daily routine is. Yet it obviously won't stop the excessive bs and dumb comments that people will make towards the MM.

MM is seriously the worst possible job to have on MPGH. I really don't know why people ever applied for the position. I haven't been part of the shit for multiple years, yet I still get scammer reports and trade requests on a semi-regular basis.

I know this isn't necessarily on topic, but we've really lost some amazing members because of the MM position. It drains you having to put up with the constant bullshit. I'm a fairly large cunt, but even I felt guilty constantly about the small percentage of trades that failed even with my limited assistance. There is no such thing as a 100% safe trade, there are always loopholes that shitheads manage to find. I wanted to be in charge of something when Liz, Obama and I pushed for the usergroup. I wanted to matter to MPGH and improve it. I didn't realize what a monster the marketplace was.

You say that now but if you had MM no doubt you would resign within 1-2 months.
Me and 2 other MM's were chosen and the other 2 resigned within 1 1/2 month I believe.

Like he said, they are not asking who would want to be MM, they would allow people apply and choose REASONABLE applicants for the job. That is few and very far between the fact is, the MM service is more demanding than you may think.
