Google Liberation 1.06 for the latest free version. To use it, google for the 1.2.208 MW2 client and use that instead of latest 1.2.211. Using Liberation will be exactly as before except you will only be able to play with people who are also using the 1.2.208 MW2 client.

Even if the mod menu is a bit old, it should still work perfectly fine (with Lib 1.06 and MW2 1.2.208 anyways).

Liberation isn't update for version 1.2.211 (most recent MW2), so it won't work. Not to mention that GSC compilation was removed from the latest MW2 patch, so the way Liberation normally works wouldn't work on the latest version. However any version before 1.2.211 (1.2.208 being the latest), will work perfectly fine. Just find the 1.2.208 client, and you will be able to use Liberation with it.

It works with version 1.2.208, but the people you want to play with must also have that version. Just replace your 1.2.211 client with the 1.2.208 client, then use Liberation like you would normally.
