You say it's for developers, but if someone is coding hacks they'll probably use Task Manager.

OR

Since they're a developer, they can write this 1 line program (language dependent) on their own.

Thanks for posting anyway, too bad there isn't a specific Tools section for GTA V yet.

I know it's a old thread but you can do it in one without the unneeded vars

Process.GetProcessByName("gtav")[0].Kill();//You will get exception if GTA V not open!!! Next method wont get exception

And if you do it your way you should do it like:

Process[] Proc = Process.GetProcessesByName("gtav");
if(proc.Length > 0)
     Proc[0].Kill();

witch then you wouldn't need a try{}catch{} because it wont try close the process if it's not open.
