Yea, my dad had a custom computer built just for listening to music and for managing the shitload of files,emails and etc he has stored from 30 yrs of work. I use that for music
or i just use a mac for music.
You can plug it straight in if you want.

You won't get the best mic out of wireless headsets, cord is annoying and you can move around your house feel without worrying about the cord, hehe. That being said, I would love to have some wireless into my life.
