Would this still be pirating?

I bought a game that was released 10 years ago on a CD, and now I want to play it again. Problem is it has a huge scratch and I can't install it anymore, so I went and tried to find it online where I can buy and download it on something like steam or origin. Nobody sells the game though, there is no retailer out there that has the game available for purchase. Like, it was stopped being sold a really long time ago and it says the company who made it is dissolved and in liquidation. Only people selling it are private ones on e-bay and amazon and I don't want a used copy. So is this still pirating if I download a copy of the game?

Well I did get caught pirating before somehow and centurylink said they would terminate my service if I was again.

Use a (good) VPN when torrenting. I've been torrenting for years and I've never been caught once.

Already have shit internet and when using a vpn I drop to like 5-10 kbps and it will take over a week to download it. Rather not and just download it at 1.5 mbps and wait couple hours.

Do as you wish, I'm just giving you tips on how to lower your chances of being caught a lot. Also, using a good VPN service can sometimes not lower your speed very much at all.

Best one I was able to find for free was Cybe******, and even still with that I get around 50 kbps.

Pretty sure you can do it since you own the original copy it's not pirating. Plus you can download a HTTP download which wont be detected by your ISP.

Any Free WIFI spots near your house or somewhere you live? Just bring your laptop and do what you want. ( or download through phone if you dont have laptop ) Like some caffe or something? Maybe they havent blocked any torrent ports.

try a offshore vps in the netherlands and download the torrent file faster, vps tend to have 200mbps all the away to 1000mbps down and up speed

Nope, the company is gone and they have no way of making a profit off of a game that is no longer up for retail.
