Why you got banned.

Guys today was a ban wave everybody who used ANY mod menu, public hook, cheat engine etc.. (ghosthook, niggahook etc got Rockstar Online ban AND Steam VAC ban) got banned SO dont spam this and every other thread "BAN BAN BAN fock you mothre furcker mod creator" and the hooks got detected not the menu the menu even was an "offline" menu.

You're still ignoring the fact that what you originally stated is 100% wrong. Steam has VAC on some of its games (mostly VALVE). GTA: V, however, has no VAC banning feature because VALVE does not monitor GTA: V. This is the responsibility of R*.

Furthermore, you knew the risks associated with using a public hook. Should have sprung for the private ones. GGWP. Enjoy your ban.

I have GTA V in steam as well and No VAC bans for me, when you mod - use your brain, don't forget and act like you don't have anything to worry about. However I am sorry for your loss, GG as someone said above.
