In my opinion, I think their "movement" is seriously dumb and ignorant. I'm not saying this because they're women, I'm saying this because how they go about preaching their thoughts are useless and only make matters worse. There's a difference between a women's rights activist and a snotty bitch. Not only are they extremely rude, but they think that they can get away with anything because they're a "women's rights activist". But the thing that really drives me up the walls is how they use the word "rape". Unlike the normal usage, feminists feel the need to take the word completely out of context and use it in any situation or battle that they're losing. Just yesterday I had a feminist in my history class that loves to use men raping them as a valid point in an argument about women in the military. This has been pissing me off for quite some time, because in my opinion, I don't think that making a movement to pass laws will change anyone's opinion, it's only going to worsen it. The people who seriously think that all males oppress females just because they're male have met one-two assholes and then stereotype everyone else. I don't go out much, so maybe it happens in more areas than others, but I seriously doubt women are withheld from certain jobs just because of their gender. Feminism is ok if it's not being abused. Women have the same rights as men.
The wage gap is misrepresented. Overall, men do get paid more than women. However, that's because men tend to have higher paying jobs that a woman could get, but a ton of women decide to sit in a gender studies class.
If women were paid less, companies would hire a lot more women than men.
