Hello, so recently, about 1-2 months ago, I got a new laptop. It cost me 2000$ for it.. When I first got it, I thought that it would be able to run very good, and very smooth with most games, and especially csgo, cause my old Intel laptop, ran CSS 100+ frames, and that was very shite..
It's a decent laptop:
I7-6700HQ
16GB RAM
GTX 960M 4GB..
I try to play CSGO on medium/high settings, and i get around 30 fps... And even then, at longer range It's hard to spot players, and the movement feels very laggy. and just bad.. and it ruins my aim.. I can hardly hit someone, long away from me.
Any solutions? Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Even at all low settings I would only get 60 fps..
Or does cs:go, actually need good graphics? :O
And, what's the best settings? (good performance, but also being able to spot people easier?)
And what DPI do you use?
THANKS A LOT!

Try messing with your graphics settings.
Usually, laptop graphics suck but $2000 should get you some parts.
Dexters are right , switch GPU
Get a desktop, better performance and cheaper.
Sometimes, not a lot.. It only gets hot when I play more graphics and CPU intensive games like arma

Seriously, fuck off. People like you are getting very annoying. This is not only for gaming. And, I'm not gonna go buy a 2,000$ laptop, and then go buy a desktop. lol
Smh... I got a desktop pc, custom built, and only cost me around 1300$~ and runs CS:GO and 200+ fps on medium to low settings. (really no need to run high as it doesn't change much anyway.)
Just face it. Laptops are absolute shit.
Well, I didn't buy this to only game on it. I study, travel, and so much more. So that's why I got this.. I ain't got time to sit all day and play.. But then the time comes to play, I'd love to get a nice experience... and It's crazy a 2000$ laptop cant even play csgo without lag lol

There you go, I had the same issue with my laptop, since then I'd never buy a laptop for gaming again, they simply suck.
