do what the tutorial says, no other hacks needed to reset. and look to the quote under this. (quote under this is step 2)

I have read the tut and followed all the instructions but when I go back into CoD I am still 10th prestige Rank 70. I have done this about 3 times and it still will not reset me back to Rank 1 no prestige

Ok, I did a rank hack for MW 2, right? I tried everything I did to change it back to normal or even reset my rank. I followed your tutorial as said, and it still didn't work. Nothing happened. I'm still the same level that I put for my rank hack. I been trying to fix this for 3 days now. If someone could help me and gets it to work, Thank you soo much! I appreciate it!
