    "new" 2000$ laptop heat crashses?

Hey, so 1-3 months ago, I bought myself a new laptop. It cost 2000$ for only the laptop.
    The specs are
    I7-6700HQ
    GTX 960M 4GB
    16GB RAM

    - When I play csgo, it gets really hot. I still get around 160 fps, (everything on low -.-) but it's very smooth.
But now I've encountered a new problem. - I'm not sure if this is due to high heat.

But at random times, it will just crash. Like fully crash, no alt + esc. I have to hold the power button down until it turns off, and then turn it on.
And I was wondering, if anyone of you nice people know, what is causing this?

I wouldn't really think, that these problem would occur so fast, when it's pretty new, and cost quite a bit..

    Thank you very much <3

You put a little plastic thing under your laptop and it has fan(s) in it and that is meant to keep your laptop from doing that.

    He has stated it's new.
I don't see any reason to why it should be overheating at all.

But as people said, see if you can clean the fan.
If not, honestly, I'd return the laptop, if it's a gaming laptop and can't handle CSGO then something is obviously wrong.

Depending on how many hours you're playing on it, I would highly suggest getting a portable fan you put under the laptop to keep it cool because if it keeps overheating you will fuck up your motherboard thus destroying the laptop.

I had the same issues with a gaming laptop but mine was that it couldn't handle the games graphics. Anyways we both learned a lesson to never buy a gaming laptop. Let us remember our mistakes and rise above them. Cheers mate.
