If you need a computer for school, get a laptop, but try to get a decent desktop, and a laptop also.

Hp or Asus Laptops are the best for a budget but MSI laptops are the best in my opinion.

Laptops are for like casual gaming and homework and shit and if you are a more "competitive" gamer then buy a PC.

If you're playing basic games like CSGO/Rocket League, then you might as well go for a good laptop since you also need it for school.

That's very low dude, don't get a PC for that, and if you get a laptop for that price don't expect playing games like Rocket League with much performance. I would definitely get a bigger budget for any type of computer though. Originally Posted by Nyaro

It really depends. I have a PC. ( more space for cuztomizations or upgrades )
I never used a laptop ever in my life just cause of the battery life. ( from my brother's experience. the battery life of his laptop can't even survive a day )
