Insurgency - Day Of Infamy | Vision Enhancement

This is a mod, not an hack, hence it can't be patched and can't be detected.
This mod is not a newer version of this (https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1057225), as that mod worked only on normal Insurgency servers, this one works only on Day Of Infamy servers! This means you can use these 2 mods together, because 2 different parts of the game are involved!

NOTE:
Due to the fact that that Day Of Infamy is a mod itself, the installation method for this mod is quite different, but not too complex, i'll explain it briefly below!

This mod overhauls skins for German and US Forces, making them respectively ORANGE and GREEN, so it's easier to spot enemies even in foggy maps!

INSTALLATION GUIDE:

1) Download file "Orange & Green.zip" below, unzip it on the desktop or in any other location you remember

2) Launch Insurgency and click on Steam Workshop





NOTE! If you install this mod, you won't see your character red as in this screen, this is another mod I made, you will notice changes only if you play on Day Of Infamy servers!

3) Click on Upload





3) Select the file you previously unzipped, fill the text boxes with "Test" and click on Publish File!





4) Exit Insurgency and open steam homepage! Click on WORKSHOP and go to "YOUR FILES", and subscribe to the mod you just uploaded, the one called "Test".

5) IMPORTANT!!! The mod should be set as "Hidden", never, never, NEVER change that setting unless you want to be banned!

TROUBLESHOOT

Q - My character in the menu screen isn't red as in the screenshots you posted! Why?
A - It's not meant to. If you don't have any other Vision Enhancement mod installed, your character in the screen menu should be vanilla!
Q - The mod doesn't work in game! How do i make it work?
A - Make sure you are playing on a server that allows the use of mods!
Make sure you subscribed the mod, after uploading it to the workshop!
Make sure you are playing on Day Of Infamy servers (this mod doesn't work on normal Insurgency servers)!

Note the following:

Some servers that are listed as MODS ENABLED, currently don't support the use of mods apart from maps

All the servers that start with this names don't support mods!

The red character you see in the Menu of the screens i posted is another mod i made (that works exactly like this https://www.mpgh.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1057225)!
If you install this mod, you won't see any changes in the menu screen, but only while playing on a Day Of Infamy server!

Developers released a mod called Day Of Infamy that allows you to play in specific WW2 Maps with WW2 weapons! It's basically a free DLC.
If you subscribe to the mod, in your multiplayer menu there will be a "Day Of Infamy" decidated servers list, you can play there!

Yep I was playing on them. I used the multiplayer menu thing and selected day of infamy.

that's odd... Ok follow these steps carefully:

- Unsubscribe the mod
- Delete the mod from the workshop
- Download again the mod
- Unzip it on the desktop
- Follow the steps above (upload and subscribe)
- Play Day Of Infamy
