Holding the flame

Hey guys tried something a little different, this is just the beggining of this, so any tips would be very useful

u followed the tut to make the fire on the hand, right? Great outcome.
About the burning..
This is called photo manipulation what u r trying to do.
It doesnt seem like he is burning..U know how paper looks when its burning, right? Try to make it like this, or erase some parts, and use like splatter brushes or so with a clipping mask , so it would seem that some part of him is burned soon and the winds is taking away the pieces.

Btw, did you follow the tut i gave u? Did u make a sig with it?

ill try that, but also this is kinda meant to look like hes controling the flame a bit, like fire bending in avatar (thats where i got the idea)

Did the brushes, found a good setting to erase the side of him to look a bit burnt, also added a small flame around him

remove more from the shoulder/head.
I dont know how to do this, but the edges shouldnt be soft..Mak them like burning paper.
Like said, erase more, the fire is so far soon and u only erased this much..
Also i see fire on his face, remove it.
Also add more splatter clippings,
