I'm assuming these decimals are like the levels you got to (where like 4.0 is 40 laps). Anyways think I maxed out at like 5.7 (or something aroudn there) then my throat would feel super dry, I'd feel like I'm tasting blood, and my legs would feel like rubber (is that even the right word for it? idk what the phrase is, but if someone said it, I'd know) and I'd have to just stop and lie dead in the bleachers with everyone else. I was like average anyways so it's all good in my book.
