I had a question, answer it if you can

So basically I flashed a wrong recovery and the current installed recovery won't allow me to flash another recovery. So I tried using adb and fastboot to flash from computerbut it won't work, so tell me how do I install another recovery now? I tried puting the .img on sd card and flashing it on sd but it won't work and I also to put it in .zip and tried it and still won't work. Btw the recovery I have installed is cyanogenmod recovery and I am trying to flash twrp lg g4 h811 recovery.

Can't you just flash back to stock rom then flash the correct recovery?

Hmm. Did you look around the XDA forums? or at least your phone model w/ the issue you're having?

Yeah it's a lgg4 h811 usa tmobile however when I looked around xda it took me to a form to flash stock but it didn't do shit, when I flashed it it gave me "contact admin" so I flash cyanogenmod instead and that worked and then opengapps.
However I am thinking about something and I hope it works, so i will update if I get it to work. :P




Fixed it and I will make a post on xda on how to fix this issue if you get it caue i didn't see a post on it. Basically I had to boot into the new image before I could flash it perm. So I had to fastboot boot nameofrecovery.img and then fastboot flash nameofrecovery.img after i get into the new recovery. kinda weird. B
