just upgrade your psu
I have checked many forums and it says it can but some says it can't.
Heres my spec:
4x 120mm fans
Kraken X31 liquid cooling
EVGA G2 650w
Asus 970 Pro Gaming Mobo
FX 8350 oc 4.50GHz
120GB SSD
1TB HDD
I'm currently running 970 SLI, and yes I'm not gonna buy the 1000 generations. I have seen some reviews about how 980 SLI beats 1070 and 1-3fps over 1080.
I just wanna know if my PSU will handle 980 in SLI.
just upgrade your psu
You should upgrade it, can't hurt
That is way too tight to be comfortable. I would go 800-850W for safety though 750w would be fine.
You always want 20% voltage free of use.
Definitely upgrade your psu and even if you end up having enough its always good to have extra power for future upgrades.
hmmm 650 seems a bit low for what it is a 850 would be ideal imo
That PSU can handle your setup freely
Now I'm not entirely sure whether not not pcpp does this or not, but you have to remember psus aren't 100% efficient. Your psu is 80+ gold, which means it shouldn't be less than 87% efficient, which would put your psu at around 566 watts minimum. Now you might get a little more than that due to legal reasons to under-sell or something.
But if pcpp accounts for that then you should be good.
Also used another website to get a second opinion.

Insane!
It should run fine
You can use pc part picker to estimate your wattage.
