@donpoohbear2 I believe there's a way to manipulate your GPS, so you can appear in more populated areas.

However, if you have a Jailbroken IOS, you can try the new hack 'Tap to Walk', which means you can effectively make your on screen avatar walk to your 'nearest' pokestop.

Past the point of verification for 9.0.1. You can't downgrade to that version anymore. To tell you the truth, you can't downgrade at all.

Apple doesn't sign any downgrades anymore that are too old. You can get tap to walk without jailbreak you only need to have a Mac or a Virtual Machine with MAC OS X on it.
