Update on OWL REALMS!

As many of you have probably seen the client no longer works. It was updated due to hackers. It now uses a swf protection method which means it can't be uploaded to MPGH and web clients aren't allowed to be posted? If you are in the skype group feel free to talk about it maybe we can find a way to get it approved on mpgh! :P

That would be in breach of the MPGH Rules. You cannot distribute the files via Skype. It must be uploaded to MPGH via attachment and be working. You can easily encrypt it another way

As long as they don't post it on MPGH and give it out via Skype before approval, it's fine, MPGH isn't the internet police. As long as they don't give the link out on MPGH then they are allowed to give it out anywhere else technically.
I guess this thread will encourage people to ask for the client via Skype therefore MPGH can get involved, but it's really a shame how serious this website takes sharing files over Skype considering they do not own Skype.

that's why you gotta spend the money on a domain and just tell people to "search my epic realms" on google

the whole skype issue is a bit of a stretch, but considering this is MPGH, the best guideline to enforce would be to not trust the user, because they're very likely to try to exploit the system in one way (it's a hacking community). so they have to patch up holes in the system that don't seem very justified at first glance

We don't make you upload your client here, the rule is simply that if you do upload a client here you cannot distribute the client before we approve it.
