This was released quite a long time ago. Something might've happened which stops this working

It's your internet or steam is down. I used it yestserday

Long dead thread most likely, but when I inject the .dll it works but when I click "find Game" it crashes and says the usual "iw4mp has stopped working."
If anyone sees this help would be appreciated.

It's possible. Just not possible with this file... I have added a check to prevent people from hosting lobbies since it causes problems if the lobby ID is bad. If you spoof the lobby ID to a valid one so the native game client doesn't kick clients out of the game, you will be able to host. I might add functionality to edit the lobby ID with an INI file if I update this.

The source is not available but you just need to restore a few bytes at the top of a function responsible for validating incoming clients. PartyHost_HandleClientHandshake I believe. Find that function in the game executable and remove the nops/ redirected jmp statements there.

So I tried to go in my MW2 folders, I searched in iw4mp and iw4sp and opened them with Notepad++ but I couldn't find PartyHost_HandleClientHandshake, all I found was "MP_WAITINGFORPARTYHOST" , "xstartpartyhost" , "privatepartyhostinlobby" and "privatepartyhost"

Great thread, thanks for the bypass works like a charm. Would be great if you could somehow still host though... Tried making something myself but have too little knowledge in this field. Would appreciate if anyone could refer me to a good dll to host while using this bypass, I miss lobby tools.
