    Unhappy Will my main account be banned if I cheat using an alt on the same computer?

    I'm pretty sure it's safe, but I'm asking just to be sure.

    I have an alt that I just bought another copy of the game on, and I'm going to use cheats. The game files that the alt will use are exactly the same that my main uses. Long story short, if I happen to get VACed on my alt, if I completely delete the cheat and maybe even re-install the game files, will anything happen to my main? Are there any hardware ID bans I should know about?
