Hello there. Last year I pointed out that I would be coding a bot from scratch. Well, after months of heavy procrastination and slapping myself to actually code it, this is the result. I guess you could say this is the continuation of Orion but under a new name. Before you even ask, since this is a bot I coded myself, other AQWorlds bot files will not be compatible towards it. The bot was also coded in mind of features that people had always wanted.

When you are going to make a bot, could you add simple if-else-then and if-checkItemCount->then-do this / that functions? Because le bot and carbon use pretty simple commands which are executed one after each other (carbon has an even a bit better system as it executes some commands parallel to other commands like getting items for example) and there are no commands which can for example skip some command-line and get to the beginning of the list or just start the script/bot once again. What i am trying to say: We need(would gladly have, if you, kind sir, could make it!) a sandbox with simple bot-programming tools in it.

I am no programmer and I think I am asking too much, but when you even read it to the half, I would be very glad!

Q: What does x bot function do?
A: Most of the bot functions are pretty self explanatory, but if you need explanation on anything ask away in this thread and I will happily reply.

Q: Are you taking suggestions?
A: Yes, I'm very much open to suggestions as I will try my best to maintain and update Cetera when I have the free time to do so.

Q: How long did this take to make?
A: Since it was from scratch, I went under a lot of trial and error which frustrated me and it was due to that that I've been only working on it on and off for 5 months. Meaning, I would only work on it once every 3 weeks, on the occasion, or just whenever I had felt like it. (I even had a streak of not even touching it for 3 whole months... yeah I'm a procrastinator)

Q: I encountered a bug! How do I report it?
A: Please reply to this thread with the full steps you took that led you to the bug. I need to be able to recreate it in order to actually fix it.

Personally don't understand why you'd waste time and effort when it's already there for you though? Why not just modify and improve what you already have?
Not trying to bait, just doubtful it was 'from scratch', especially when the features can't really be much different

This sounds like an amazing release, but it's just too buggy atm. I'm trying to make a bot that jumps to tercessuinotlim and kill monsters and the bot doesn't jump cells properly, I tell it to goto the portal at citadel and instead it goes to some random cell. Also, sometimes the bot just gets stuck on the first index and doesn't move.

And another thing I noticed, the delay between each index seems REALLY short, and bot speed doesn't seem to affect it.

Use the console when you're testing your bot to see if any error outputs.
As for the reason that the bot gets stuck on the first index, I've just encountered this now and I'm trying to replicate it as we speak to fix it. (I will send out the update as soon as I fix it)
However for the cells, you should try adding the "If In Map" if statement to make sure they're in the map before going to the cell

 

I'll be adding a command to join a map and instantly go to the cell in the next update after I figure out why the bot index is stuck at the first index.
The delay between each index is really slow is normal however I'll try to find a way around for it in the next update as well.
