How to play MW2 with Zero Gear demo on 182 patch

in .182 you cannot load multiplayer games with steam set in offline mode i just tried it. this fix is probably gonna be a pain ;P

Yeah - maybe the person who started threat can post a RAR of his actual zero gear file that we can copy paste ? ^^

hes probably got the same problem, since anyone whos done the installation right has the same issue. Steam connect failed.

so just for fun i used the old files from the .175 cracked patch and pasted them over the files i had for .182, unfortunately that didnt work either. same error

when I try to join a game, it goes throught the loading screen the crashes to my party saying "unable to join steam lobby" help!!

I'm able to play for two minutes. Sounds like it's something to do with Zero Gear, maybe...Is there some executable we can create that can be launched in parallel or library that can be injected with MW2 to trick it into thinking STEAM=TRUE?

i dont think its zero gear either because the .175 patch works fine, its something to do with it joining official servers, there HAS to be a bypass for it. anyone have a VAC bypasser? should try using it and then connecting to see if you dont get kicked. its not kicking for cheats but VAC is kicking for some other reason, it picks something up

yes it will still work but you wouldn't need to, it doesn't work with cracked games tho
