Homework problem that you need help on?
A cat, along with a flask containing a poison, is placed in a sealed box shielded against environmentally induced quantum decoherence. If an internal Geiger counter detects radiation, the flask is shattered, releasing the poison that kills the cat. The Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics implies that after a while, the cat is simultaneously alive and dead. Yet, when we look in the box, we see the cat either alive or dead, not both alive and dead.

i srsly hav no idea can u explain in like normal terms wut that thing is
This is hypothetical right?
Schroedingers cat? i never understood this :<
O B E Y
the cat cant possibly be alive
because when the quantum decoherence
is released then the cat slowly dies it slowly dies
the cat is everywhere...
and nowhere...
the cat is not alive and nor is it dead.
STOP FUCKING WITH MY BRAINS!!!!! WAAAHHHHH WAHHHHHH WAHHHHHHHH
My brother's UBC professor said something similar to this. IDK anything about it, I could probably read it up and form an opinion, but idfc about the imaginary cat's state.
There are two types of tragedies in life. One is not getting what you want, the other is getting it.
If you wake up at a different time in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?
