"Greatest of All Time" Muhammad Ali passes away at 74
June 3rd was a day to mourn across the globe as one of the most beloved athletes of all time, Muhammad Ali passed away. He was 74 years old, and was fighting a 32-year battle with Parkinson's disease. Ali's daughter tweeted from the hospital writing after Ali's organs completely failed-- "his heart continued to beat for another 30 minutes: A sign of the legendary legacy of a true warrior on display. Ali made a name for himself beating out opponents on his way to becoming a three-time World Heavyweight Champion boxer. He was a man of the people, someone not only athletes could relate to, but anyone. He had a fight about him that people admired and were inspired by. He will never be forgotten and his legacy and fiery spirit will live on.

Philippine president-elect recommends public to kill drug dealers
The Philippine president-elect has recommended the Philippine public to kill drug dealers to assist him in his war against crime. He advises the public to shoot drug dealers in neighbourhoods and those who resist arrest. Rodrigo Duterte, the president-elect, spoke to a large crowd in the city of Davao, where he insisted that Philipinos that help him in his war against crime will be rewarded. Duterte won the Philippine presidential election on May 9, with a strong voice and a promise to end crime and corruption within six months of his from the beginning of his presidency. Human-rights activists have strongly spoken about the actions of the president, stating that a large widespread of anti-crime may lead to rights violations and abuse. It remains to be seen what exactly will happen when he takes office sometime this year.

AMD Releasing The Radeon RX 480 For Just $200.

Nvidia is trying to go after the high-end market for GPUs with the GTX1080 and the GTX 1070. AMD is trying to aim for a more affordable while very powerful GPU. AMD has released the following details here, currently. AMD lists 36 compute units and they will most likely use 64 "shader cores" unless they changes things around with the Polaris. This would mean 2304 cores. That's a whopping 30% more than the R9 380. It's starting at $199 which will most likely be for the 4GB version. The 8GB models are being estimated to be $20 - $50 more than the launch price of the 4GB GPU. The GTX 1070 and the RX 480 will run GDDR5 at 8000 MT/s, four bits per cycle. Anyone running R7 370 or lower should take advantage of this offer when it is released. The hardware can not be judged just yet as the release date is June 29th, but you can expect something great.

Scientists have taken a big leap towards developing what could be the very first 'universal cancer vaccine.'

Early tests in humans along with research in mice have just been published. They propose the new technique could be used to activate a patient's immune system against any tumour, anywhere in the body. Unlike regular vaccines, this would be utilised for people who already have cancer, rather than those who are at risk of getting it.The vaccine essentially works by shooting tiny 'darts' containing many different pieces of RNA extracted from the patient's cancer cells at the body's immune system which follows a strong response from T-cells (cells that usually deal with infections).In theory, the RNA could be changed inside the darts to prepare the immune system against any cancer.

Dr Helen Rippon, Chief Executive of Worldwide Cancer Research, said: “We know the immune system has great potential to be manipulated and reactivated to fight cancer cells, that is why we’ve been funding research into this for 15 years. However, more research is needed in a larger number of people with different cancer types and over longer periods of time before we could say we have discovered a ‘universal cancer vaccine’. But this research is a very positive step forwards towards this global goal.”

New Melanoma Drug Hailed As “A Step Forward” In Battle Against Deadly Skin Cancer

Melanoma, a condition when the skin's pigment producing cells become cancerous, often spreads to other parts of the body and has a very low survival rate.
The reason being, is that the disease is extremely difficult to treat. Because the cancerous cells are actually part of the body and not an external pathogen, the body has certain countermeasures to keep them from being destroyed by alien invaders since it doesnt identify them as an external risk.
One of these countermeasures is a protein called PD-1, which is found on the surface of white blood cells and serves to keep the white blood cells in check by preventing them from attacking other cells ( such as the cancerous ones).
However, after experimenting with a compound called pembrolizumab, which inhibits the activity of said PD-1, 40% of the 655 melanoma patients tested were still alive 3 years later.

What does this mean?
This means that somewhat of a breakthrough for melanoma cancer has been discovered, where the average survival time for patients receiving pembrolizumab was 23.8 months, it is still significantly longer than most people affected with melanoma.

On June 3rd Kanye West tweeted that the rumors are true; the GOOD Music label is producing another compilation album. The album, titled Cruel Winter, is a play off of the 2012 Cruel Summer (the last compilation album released by GOOD Music). Kanye has released the first song from the album titled "Champions". A number of artists worked on this song, here is the official list: Kanye West, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Travi$ Scott, Big Sean, Yo Gotti, Quavo, and Desiigner.

Speaking of Kanye West, a new music video was posted for "That Part" - Schoolboy Q feat. Kanye West and around the same time Schoolboy Q informed us that his album which has yet to be named will be released on July 8th.

In more sad news there were many rumors floating around that Frank Ocean was to release an album on June 3rd. Well, as anyone who knows Frank Ocean can guess the album was never released (if there even is one).

The Currency Exchange section is a newly added section to the Market Place section for people to exchange from one form of monetary service to another. For example, I could exchange $100 BTC (BitCoin) for arunforce's $100 AGC (Amazon Gift Card).

Murder victim's parents say parrot witnessed a crime
A parrot named Bud may very well be the new key witness to the killing of his owner. This may sound very weird but there may be some truth behind it. So back in 2015 a parrot named Bud belonged to a man named Martin Duram but he was shot 5 times in his home along with his wife that sustained a gun shot to the head but survived. At first Michigan State Police suspected that this was done by an intruder. But now after Glenna Duram, Martins ex wife has recovered, she is also listed as a suspect. Police records obtained by WOOD-TV claim that Glenna shot her husband 5 times before turning the gun on herself and attempting suicide. Glenna Duram is said to have left 3 suicide notes, claims that she doesn't remember anything until she was in the hospital. Now here comes the interesting part, Martins relatives claim that the parrot can prove that Glenna was the murderer. A few weeks after Martin was shot his relatives Lillian and Charles Duram took a Short video of Bud repeating what may very well be the argument between the couple and he even uses 2 different voices. At one point in the video Bud says "Don't fucking shoot" in the voice of Martin Duram. Charles believes that this is a sign that the parrot was a witness to the crime, while others say that the bird might have heard it on TV or something. Therefore the bird can't be used in court since there is no real way to tell if it was in fact an argument or just something he picked up on TV.
