I'd assume the steps are as follows:

1) Use your main paypal account or create a new one (stealth)
- if you're creating a new one, get it verified through vcc

2) Login to your paypal account with IP address #1
- can be your original IP or VPN

3) Play around with paypal, check balance, whatever.
- this is to let paypal recognise that this is indeed "original" IP address

4) Use a VPN/Proxy to login and act as the hacker
- must be same country tho

5) Spend it on somewhere
6) Use IP address #1, report unathorised transaction
7) Get back money

I personally haven't try this method as it's too much job and too risky imo. lol good luck!

wait till it's shipped out and then file a report? because unauthorised transaction is a more serious matter than "the boxes that came are empty"

It is a bigger risk if you tell paypal that your account has been intruded by a hacker than the parcel didn't come/parcel came empty. As parcel lost in transit happens all the time.

If you're gonna tell paypal your account has been hacked, it will be cause an investigation. To me, that should be avoided.

As long as you have another IP address, preferably an untraceable one. Either a VPN or Proxy would do the job. As for VPN, use a provider with good reviews and strictly no logs.

Another method, just refund the payment or something. As I really don't recommend reporting it as unauthorised transaction.

if i just refund , they will ask if the product was shipped for sure. i was wondering if i can do it without VPN, just by logging in another computer
