What kind do you consider the best, do you think rap nowadays is better than the rap before?

You can't really compare old school rap and new generation rap. It was a different time and a different mindset. I listen to certain rappers from this so called ''new generation'' but mostly listen to the oldies (NWA, Pac, Biggie, Nas, Eminem etc.) Not saying that this new rap scene is completely shit but it is not even close to real rap. But as the times changed so did the meaning of rap. Before it was a beat and a rappers words nowadays it's a sick beat and incomprehendable words. Not saying all of them are like that but some of the big boys are. That's my opinion.

I never really listened to rap until like the last year or so. Got really into the soundcloud scene and basically skipped a lot of the old school. I'm really into artists who take inspiration from the music that came out of memphis in the 90s. Lil ugly mane is my all time favorite act

Myself, I enjoy both oldschool & new school rap but as stated before, they cant be really compared. At some points, I love listening to N.W.A and Nas more than anything else, but at some points I love stuff like $uicideboy$, Pouya & Ghostemane. All depends on the feeling I have at the moment. If anybody is interested in a ~200 song youtube playlist of mostly dark themed underground rap, feel free to hit me up in PM's (not sure if im allowed to post links :P)

I dont listen to much of the new school mainstream stuff cause I think most of it is shit. Still continue to bump the old stuff from Wiz, Weeknd, Asap Mob. All I need man!
